Tranzo POS pricing is straightforward, the trial is real, and there's no card required to start. Here's how it works.

The 14-day trial

Every new account gets 14 days of full Growth plan access. No credit card. No trial-mode limitations. After 14 days, you pick a plan and we invoice you.

Enterprise only

Upgrading

Drawer → BillingUpgrade. Pick your new plan, confirm. The change is effective immediately. We adjust the next invoice prorated.

Downgrading

Same flow. The change is effective at the start of your next billing cycle (gives you time to consolidate shops or reduce staff if the new plan has lower limits).

If you downgrade and exceed the new plan's limits — say, downgrade from Growth to Starter while having 3 shops — we email you with 30 days' notice to consolidate before enforcement kicks in.

Payment

Currently manual: after you select a plan or trial expires, we email an invoice with payment instructions (M-Pesa till and bank transfer). Pay within 7 days to keep your account active.

Coming soon: M-Pesa STK Push for one-tap payment, and Pesapal card auto-renewal. Both are awaiting Safaricom and Pesapal review of our integration. We'll email all customers as soon as they're available.

What happens if I don't pay

  1. Day 0 (invoice sent) — full access continues
  2. Day 7 — invoice overdue, gentle reminder email
  3. Day 14 — second reminder, account flagged "past due"
  4. Day 21 — third reminder, app shows past-due banner
  5. Day 30 — account locked. Read-only access; no new sales can be rung up
  6. Day 60 — account fully suspended. We retain your data for 90 days
  7. Day 150 — data is deleted permanently

To avoid this: just pay. Or email us if you're hitting cash flow trouble — we'll work it out, we're not going to take down a working business over a pay delay.

Cancelling

Email hello@tranzopos.com with "Cancel subscription" in the subject. We acknowledge within 1 business day. You keep access until the end of the cycle you've already paid for. Your data is retained for 90 days, then deleted.

Refunds

Pro-rated refunds for unused time on annual plans (if we ever offer them — we don't yet). Monthly plans don't get refunded — too short a window to matter.

Who can manage billing

Owner only. Managers can see the current plan but cannot change it. Cashiers can't access billing at all.

Common questions

Can I switch from monthly to annual?

Not yet — we ship monthly only. Annual plans with discounts are on the roadmap.

Can I pay in USD?

For Enterprise customers operating outside Kenya, yes. Email us.

Do you offer non-profit discounts?

Yes, 25% off any plan. Email us with proof of registration.
